it's quite sad my persistence seems to be strongest on the virtual race track.

| I think England, generally, played their best game today, sadly the key players failed to deliver at the critical moments, Gerrard, Lampard, Joe Cole.....didn't give us the earth shattering goals today, and some good oppotunites were wasted as well. Things wouldn't be a lot different if Rooney isn't off I think, the England lineup is more than capable in making up his absence, they fought for Wayne and they fought for Beckham, why that spirit weren't being able to carry into the penalty shootout, will always remain a bitter mystery.
I don't expect them to win the cup home, but it's just sad that we can't see them playing against the real top teams in their top form.
